UPDATE: March 15, 2014 at Fort Mason in SF, we four chocolateers from CBTB presented “Forget Paris: Touring the Bay Area’s artisan chocolate” at 12:30 pm as part of TasteTV’s San Francisco International Chocolate Salon.

San Francisco has seen an explosion of artisan chocolate shops and cafés in the past few years. So while Paris might have more, there’s plenty of quality chocolate to discover here.

We presented our suggestions for several self-guided chocolate tours of the San Francisco Bay Area.

D-I-Y tours we covered:

  1. Downtown SF
  2. The Mission District
  3. Dogpatch neighborhood
  4. Berkeley
  5. Oakland/Emeryville
  6. And more
