3352 Grand Avenue, Oakland
Michael’s Chocolates founded in 2017 by Michael Benner in San Francisco, is now (2021) an Oakland based chocolatier that makes beautiful bonbons, caramels, enrobed chocolates, and bars. They are known for their Salted Almond Bar, award-winning Lemon Burst bonbons, Salted Caramels, and collaborations with Dandelion Chocolate and other SFBA artisan makers.
They are a CBTB recommended chocolatier.
They took over the former Michael Mischer space, where they make and sell their chocolates, plus offer hot chocolate and coffee drinks, gelato, and a curated collection of chocolate and other foodstuffs by other local artisan makers.
You can also buy their chocolate online, at some local shops, and at special events, such as Chocolate Salons and pop-ups in local boutiques.
