Like a bar of really good dark chocolate melted into a tea cup. Add the unsweetened whipped cream to taste.
Angelina is a beautiful belle époque salon de thé (tea room) conveniently located near the Louvre. You won’t feel guilty enjoying this delicious indulgence after trekking through the 3-football-field-sized museum. And even though there was always a line out the door when we visited (2x in 1 week!), it was never a long wait and we never felt rushed once we were seated.
Just don’t give me the nutritional details of this cup.
They also offer sandwiches, salads, pastries, coffee and tea, but honestly, I didn’t pay attention to the rest of the menu.
It’s all about the chocolate for me.
