chocolate shoes

Too good to eat?

By

Chocolate with good taste. In Paris, mais bien sur.

Handmade birds and artist palettes

On a trip to the chocolate capital of the world in 2009, we were drawn to this shop’s window displays:

Josephine Vannier Chocolats & Glaces in Paris makes the cutest chocolate “art”: song birds, shoes, artist’s palettes… Not the molded chocolates of your Easters past, but like little sculptures of chocolate.

How could anyone eat these?

Except for the ribbons, these shoes are all chocolate.

Prices seemed quite reasonable for these sweet works of art: Shoes in the mid-20 euros, cups and hearts under 20 euros, and the little birds for under 10 euros.
