Sweet tradition
Lula’s Chocolates, established in 2006, makes truffles, chocolate-covered caramels, nut clusters, and buttercream chocolates from recipes handed down by the founder’s grandmother, Lula Lund. Lula was a candy maker in Salt Lake City, selling her chocolates under the name “Mrs. Lund’s Personality Chocolates.”
As you might expect, Lula’s Chocolates are old fashioned: big and sweet with thick shells. They are also popular locally with shops in 4 locations. You can also buy their chocolates online; and some grocery stores like Whole Foods and Mollie Stone’s carry some of their line.
