Asian-inspired chocolates in an Asian neighborhood

Farmers Market Vendor Local ChocolatierFactory StoreJade Chocolates uses Asian flavors in their bars, truffles and snacks. One of their most popular items is their Genmai bar, which is an upscale Nestle’s Crunch bar with an Asian twist. It uses roasted brown rice for the crunch and adds Genmai green tea and jasmine tea.

Jade opened their retail shop December 2014 in the Inner Richmond District, SF, where in addition to their full line of chocolates, they also offer loose tea and hot chocolate. Owner Mindy Fong grew up in the area, and her Asian-inspired chocolates are a perfect fit for this neighborhood with a large population of Chinese and other Asian Americans.
