Bar Cacao’s Meet Your Maker series: Carla D Martin, PhD

Talk and taste your way through a handful of craft chocolates with Carla D. Martin, PhD, in the next Bar Cacao’s Meet Your Maker series event.

In the talk, “Your Chocolate May Be Fine, But Is It Good?”, she will cover some topics in her Harvard course, Chocolate, Culture and the Politics of Food, including social and environmental risk factors associated with the cacao-chocolate supply chain, and talk about her newly launched nonprofit, the Fine Cacao and Chocolate Institute. Net proceeds support The Fine Cacao and Chocolate Initiative.

Four Barrel Coffee will provide refreshments and palate cleansers to accompany the tasting. A limited supply of bars will be available for purchase.
