Bespoke bonbons & off-the-shelf bars
Trish & Michael O’Dwyer founded Ór Dubh Chocolates in 2015, and make bonbons and bean-to bar-chocolate in Gilroy. They offer a good range of single-origin bars from Central America, South America, Southeast Asia, and Equatorial Africa; and the bar packaging offers helpful tasting notes.
More unusually, Trish, Ór Dubh Chocolates’ artisan chocolate maker, makes custom bonbons to order. You contact her via phone or email, discuss your requirements & restrictions, then she makes a box for you. Maybe most unusually, while there is an ingredient list, there is no menu — you do not know what specific flavors are in which bonbons.
Ór Dubh Chocolates doesn’t have a shop, but you can order their bars online.
