Chocolate is the best medicine
Formosa Chocolates, established in 2019 by psychologist Kimberly Yang, makes pretty truffles in the European tradition of subtle flavors, but with the twist of some unusual combinations like Peach Raspberry Caramel and Blood Orange Speculoos. Kimberly studied at Callebaut Academy in Belgium, and describes her chocolates as “better than antidepressants.”
Formosa Chocolates are available online and at special events like the TasteTV Chocolate Salons. You can also order for pickup in Oakland.
