Heaven on earth
Pieces of Heaven, established in 1987, has been run by master confectioners Peg and Bob Whitted for about 30 years. They make truffles, chocolate-covered caramels, dipped fruit, fudge, English toffee, nut clusters, bark, and buttercream chocolates on site using Guittard couvertures. You can watch Peg and Bob making chocolates and other confections through big picture windows on the side of the shop.
While you can buy many of their chocolates online, if you visit the factory store you can choose from their full line of confections plus ice cream from local brand Marianne’s. They also offer chocolate making/appreciation classes.
