Slabs of chocolate
Läderach, a Swiss chocolate maker, opened this location and another in SFBA in 2021, and a third location in 2022. You no longer have to go to Switzerland or wait for a traveling friend to bring back hunks of their giant bark in many different flavor combos anymore. The chocolate is still made in Switzerland, but they bring it stateside for you now. They also sell truffles, tablets (chocolate bars), and chocolate snacks like chocolate covered popcorn.
Läderach opened their first US outpost in NYC in 2019, and has taken advantage of Godiva’s closings in a lot of US malls by taking over their leases since then. They have almost 30 stores across the country now (January 2022).
