Their restricted randomness lets me discover all sorts of unexpected things without the time-sink of Internet searches.<\/p>\n<p>Like this morning\u2019s article in my local paper about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2010\/03\/25\/the-chocolate-seder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">chocolate Seders<\/a>. It seems some synagogues are upscaling traditional Seder ingredients to a coordinated chocolate theme. I\u2019ve never attended a Seder, but I hate horseradish, so I gotta say hooray! Out with the bitter herbs, in with decent dark chocolate. I especially love the mention of replacing the traditional (real) egg with a Cadbury&#8217;s mini-egg.<\/p>\n<p>The article goes on to mention the historical connection of Jews and chocolate that is being explored by Rabbi Deborah Prinz in her blog, <a href=\"https:\/\/onthechocolatetrail.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jews on the Chocolate Trail<\/a>, which I found a worthwhile time-sink for someone interested in travel, chocolate and history.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Move over, chocolate Easter bunny.
