And for everybody else: dark or milk chocolate Eiffel Towers! What could say Paris more to a chocolate lover than a chocolate La Tour Eiffel?<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t visit the shop, <strong>Jadis et Gourmande<\/strong> on the Rue de Archives in the Marais, 4th arrondissement, they have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jadisetgourmande.fr\/lng_FR_srub_3-Accueil.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Chocolate is good for you<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_121\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-121\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-121\" title=\"chocolatedisks\" src=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/chocolatedisks.jpg\" alt=\"These large disks are almost 1\/2 lb. Very handy for getting your daily chocolate without overindulging, I think. Afterward I started seeing them everywhere in Paris \u2014 we bought a bunch for gifts and souvenirs.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_128\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-128\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-128\" title=\"ChristianConstant1\" src=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/ChristianConstant1.jpg\" alt=\"You have to go to Paris for these tarts \u2014 no shipping\" width=\"300\" height=\"241\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-128\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">You have to go to Paris for these tarts \u2014 no shipping<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Chocolate al fresco<\/h2>\n<p>Finally, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maisonconstant.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Christian Constant<\/a><\/strong>, 37 rue Assas, 6th arrondissement, has an amazing array of chocolates and is very highly regarded.\u00a0 Instead of candies, we decided to try their desserts, which we enjoyed in the comfy chairs of Luxembourg Gardens nearby. Very good dark chocolate in a chocolate crumbly shell (I have to develop my descriptive powers!). No cutting corners here, Christian Constant is the real deal. If you go to Paris, this is a place to seek out.
