In 1986, she and her husband, Michael Dunn, moved their chocolate business, <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/rachel-dunn-chocolates\/\">Rachel Dunn Chocolates<\/a>, \u00a0to the Bay Area. They made truffles, caramels, dipped chocolates, and other confections. They are known for their giant dipped apples. In 2017, Michael Dunn started a line of bean-to-bar chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Dunn Chocolates closed in Oct. 2019 and reopened in 2022 in a new location as <strong>Dunn Family Chocolates.<\/strong> They still make the <a href=\"https:\/\/thegiantcaramelapple.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">giant dipped apples<\/a>.
