\"Local<\/a>\"Retail<\/a>Recchiuti Confections<\/a><\/strong> \"4-cup<\/a> can be called a San Francisco institution. It\u2019s one of the oldest local artisan chocolatiers, started in 1997, and one of the best. It has an extensive line of chocolate offerings. Their main store is in the Ferry Building. They had a special events space<\/a> and store<\/a> in the Dogpatch neighborhood, which have since closed.<\/p>\n

It was established by Michael Recchiuti, who had been a pastry chef and branched out into chocolate on his own.<\/p>\n
