{"id":14877,"date":"2020-02-20T17:29:56","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T01:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/?p=14877"},"modified":"2024-04-02T11:42:27","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T18:42:27","slug":"good-green-chocolate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/ourchocolatiers\/good-green-chocolate\/","title":{"rendered":"Good, green chocolate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK, it\u2019s not literally green chocolate, but <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/hudson-greens-and-goods\/\">Hudson Greens &amp; Goods<\/a> in Napa\u2019s Oxbow Public Market carries a lot of good chocolate, much of it local, that\u2019s \u201cgreen\u201d as in sustainable, fair trade, organic, etc., etc.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oxbowpublicmarket.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oxbow Public Market<\/a> is a fun, upscale indoor market that features local food, wine, and coffee for sale in a variety of cafes and vendor stalls, so you can grab a bite or something more substantial, then buy supplies to take home. My one complaint is that they do not carry enough of the small wine country chocolatiers and chocolate makers who don\u2019t have their own retail space or enough outlets for their chocolate. I would hope they would reach out to small makers like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/le-belge-chocolatier\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Le Belge Chocolatier<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/quail-point-chocolate\/\">Quail Point Chocolate<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/rainy-day-chocolate-2020\/\">Rainy Day Chocolates<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/fleur-savage-chocolates\/\">Fleur Sauvage Chocolates<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/firefly-chocolate\/\">Firefly Chocolate<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/listingssfba\/chocolatier-2\/baci-kitchen\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baci Chocolatier<\/a>, <\/strong>and<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/chocolatebythebay.com\/magazine\/local-chocolate\/volo-chocolate\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Volo Chocolate<\/a>, <\/strong>to name a few.
